UKG is a leading provider of Workforce Management Software for organizations of all sizes. We are currently seeking an energetic, analytical, highly detail-oriented individual to work on UKG's cloud application, Workforce Dimensions. The preferred candidate must be able to help lead our team in designing and developing new features and functionality requested by our customers. Some of the primary responsibilities include mentoring team members, driving projects, leading offshore vendor team and ensuring a successful project plan is put in place. This role is critical for the ongoing support of team goals and improving performance efficiencies. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Mentor developers on the team, fostering an environment of continued learning and improvement
• Empower the team to deliver quality software in a timely manner and continuously improve the development process
• Build and maintain strong peer relationships within the team and across the organization.
• Manage / lead offshore vendor / partner teams
• Enjoy working in a collaborative environment with a diverse group of people partnering effectively with the team members, partners, and customers
• Implementation of architectural and technical designs for complex features
• Responsible for maximizing the maintainability and extensibility of the solutions
• Evaluate, recommend, and proposed solutions to existing systems
• Develop system documentation, technical user guides, technical how-to videos, user how to videos, policies, procedures and guidelines for team members and business users
Assist and adhere to enforcement of project deadlines and schedules


• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience - 1 - 3 years as a manager or team leader
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Experience as a hands-on software developer (Java)
• Excellent software engineering habits and the ability to teach people what you know
• Emotional maturity, adaptability, and the ability to lead through influence
• A hands-on attitude, a willingness to get things done and the need to learn
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• The ideal candidate will also have the following skills and experience:
• Experience building highly performant, scalable, software in a continuous integration environment
• Strong experience in SaaS/Cloud application development, including an understanding of security concerns and multi-tenancy
• Experience developing and deploying SaaS applications and services into production
