Description:UKG is seeking an Associate Software QA Engineer to join our Employee Voice Team in Montevideo. We are a highly collaborative group of professional Software Engineers working in an Agile environment.
In support of our culture, we are adopting a hybrid working model of 2-3 days per week in the office and the rest of the week from home. The UKG office location that this position is connected to is Montevideo, UY.
Responsibilities:
• Review and analyze system specifications
• Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
• Decompose requirements and user scenarios into test scenarios and test cases
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
• Evaluate product code according to specifications
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Help troubleshoot issues
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
• Contribute to estimation of work and create test plan that aligns with project deliverables
• Identify test data requirements and generate data sets for testing
• Learn the domain of the application and become a subject matter expert for assigned task areas
Qualifications
Qualifications:• Degree or studies related to QA engineering desired.
• Knowledge on writing simple and complex functional test cases.
• Knowledge on software development testing methodologies (Whitebox /Blackbox testing).
• Experience documenting test efforts and communicating results to both a technical and non-technical audience.
• Self-motivated, positive team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills with US-based teams.
