UKG – the new PeopleDoc – is seeking an enthusiastic and consultative individual to join our Central European business development and inside sales team. Using multiple lead generation tools as well as proactive research, you will generate high-quality sales leads via the phone, email and social media. You will lead conversations to establish needs, recommend solutions and set meetings for the field sales team.

The right person for this job will meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual call/appointment/opportunity objectives. You will work side by side with marketing and sales management to constantly develop your skills and ensure you are always growing professionally and personally. As a Business Development Representative (BDR) you will join our growing Central European team, which has its main office based in Stuttgart, Germany. You will be based in Germany and have a knowledge of the German market,.
Knowledge of the HR SaaS landscape and competition is a definite plus. You will enjoy working in an international environment with colleagues in other European countries as well as the US.

Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:

Generate high-quality leads through cold calling and online prospecting
Collaborate with your colleagues in the marketing team to drive outbound sales campaigns that generate new leads, nurture existing leads and identify upsell opportunities in existing accounts where appropriate
Qualify and follow-up on MQLs generated through marketing campaigns
Conduct research on LinkedIn and online to build up the pipeline with C-Level HR contacts
Establish, maintain and develop relationships with decision makers and business owners in the HR and HRIT field
Work with field sales team to set appointments with highly qualified prospects as well as conduct account mapping, research and contact discovery for target accounts
Track daily lead, opportunity and account activity in Salesforce and manage the database so that it is always up to date
Regularly redefine the collaterals to use (email templates, scripts…) and track results to ensure good conversion rates
Provide accurate updates and forecasts of lead progression and status


Required Qualifications:

Inside sales experience and proven success in lead generation
Consistent record of overachieving sales quotas and goals
BA/BSc degree or equivalent experience or completed commercial apprenticeship with federal certificate of competence
Experience in SaaS/Cloud solutions and understanding of the HR market is preferable, but not critical

Knowledge & Skills:

Dedicated team player with an entrepreneurial spirit
Creative B2B prospecting skills
Strong phone presence and positive energy
Capacity to make necessary volume of daily calls and other outreach activity
Must be able to uncover opportunities in a competitive market by identifying customer requirements and providing recommendations or solutions
Proficiency with Salesforce and Hubspot or experience using other CRM systems
High digital tech affinity, i.e. prospecting tools etc.
Excellent business writing, communication, and presentation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft 365. We’re using Teams for video calls.
Fluent in German and English
Fluent in French is a plus
