Description

We are actively seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support our Public Sector sales team. We are seeking an enthusiastic, team player who will be responsible for reporting and analyzing financial data. As the Business Analyst, you will report to the business unit Vice President of Sales. This Business Analyst position will be a key liaison to Finance, Operations and Marketing in planning and executing sales initiatives, strategy, and key business projects as well as being a business partner to the Vice President of Sales. Core responsibilities include financial reporting and extensive analysis that supports the operational effectiveness of the business unit.

Other responsibilities:
• Define and measure business performance, includes data modeling to predict future revenue contribution, support new sales initiatives, growth opportunities and internal improvements.
• Graph, chart and prepare trend analysis against sales data
• Various reports and trend analysis of sales forecasts, pipeline and closed data, including but not limited to forecast accuracy, win-loss analysis, competitive analysis, product and industry analysis.
• Support cross-functional integration of sales requirements/processes, lead sales project management efforts
• Yearly planning and budget preparation
• Set area policies and procedures that increase profitability, limit liabilities and support good business practices
• Manage special events, projects and initiatives that have critical deadlines and implications to the success of the organization. Analyze and report on impact and return on investment
• Account Planning and Territory Management

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of sales project management/operations & analysis at a high-growth company
• Demonstrated success in working in a team environment to address cross-function issues
• Experience with SalesForce, PowerPoint and Excel modeling skills
• Experience leading CRM and sales pipeline implementations
• BA/BS preferred or equivalent work experience required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance recommended
• Public Sector industry experience highly preferred
• MBA Achievement with Accounting or Financial focus would be ideal
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision is required
• Ability to travel roughly 10% annually
