UKG is seeking an experienced Business Data Analyst II (BA) responsible for partnering with internal business units and stakeholders to drive opportunities that deliver internal efficiency and overall customer experience improvements. This role requires the ability to influence product, development, and Benefits teams to continue leading our industry in best-in-class service. Qualified candidates possess some experience working with product, service and support projects, conducting business requirement sessions and documenting those details for supportability and readiness or process needs. This position demands strong organizational skills and problem-solving expertise, leveraging current and emerging technologies and managing cross-team dynamics in a fast-paced environment. Excellent technical and analytical skills, communication skills, cross-functional orientation, flexibility, innovative thinking, problem solving, conflict management, and self-motivation are required for success.Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
● Analyze trends and themes to identify opportunities that will improve the customer experience while partnering with product, development and service organizations
● Create deliverables for all aspects of business data analysis to maintain product supportability, customer resolution readiness initiatives and ongoing continuous improvement
● Utilize available tools to trend actionable data proactively
● Facilitate requirement elaboration of user stories with team members, including process- and data-modeling activities
● Query and transform data from multiple data sets
● Transform data into information and reports that business managers can interpret, and monitor KPIs and other business metrics using basic statistics and trend analysis
● Work with stakeholders to understand, prioritize and estimate operational needs
● Execute responsibilities with an understanding of the product and service vision, strategic objectives, and priorities
● Good knowledge of all phases of the software development lifecycle
● Good organizational skills with the proven ability to multitask and to “do what it takes” to get the job done
● Participate and execute on tasks in organizational readiness, serviceability and supportability projects or activities
● Facilitate appropriate communication methods and tracking tools to ensure identification and management of risks, mitigation strategies, plan activities, dependencies, impacts, escalation channels, and detailed project documentation


Required Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
● Minimum of 2 years of experience in service or support
● Knowledge of Customer Experience best practices
● Experience with Tableau, Salesforce, SQL, PowerBI and Smartsheet
● Knowledge or experience with process Improvement methodologies (i.e., Lean, Six Sigma, Agile)
Experience, Education, Certification, License and Training
● Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration or related discipline
Preferred Qualifications:
● 2+ years’ experience working as a Business/Data Analyst
● 2+ years’ experience working as a Quality Assurance Analyst
● 5+ years’ experience working with Customers in a service or support role
● Passion for customer service excellence and improving that overall experience
● Experience using ‘Agile’ methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
