About Team:The UKG Global Security organization is seeking a Business Information Security Officer (BISO) to act as the primary liaison between Global Security and the business units. This role assists the organization to understand and implement the cyber and physical security requirements and processes while also helping translate business priorities to the Global Security organization.
About You:
This position demands one to stay current with cyber security trends and developments, while managing cross-team dynamics. Attributes we will look for in our candidates include excellent technical and analytical skills, communication and flexibility, critical and innovative thinking and problem solving.
Responsibilities:
• Organize and execute delivery of Global Security services and act as the tactical and operations-level ambassador to the business units.
• Effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical staff with the ability to translate complex technical concepts in a way that decision-makers can understand.
• Lead cross functional teams (including onsite and remote) to consensus on cyber and physical security requirements and initiatives.
• Manage the security awareness programs, education campaigns, initiatives, and promote a culture of security throughout the organization.
• Assist in the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies.
• Provide guidance and training to employees on cyber and physical security best practices.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure that information security is integrated into all business processes.
• Communicate with senior management on organizational security matters.
• Stay current with the latest trends and developments in cyber and physical security.
• Develop and maintaining relationships with key organizational stakeholders.
• Serve as the interface between the various business units, and customers.
• Interact with customers and partners to address security concerns and awareness of our security program and goals.
• Drive the successful adoption of the security programs requirements.
• Surface potential risks, concerns, and constraints within the various business units.
• Collaborate on potential mitigation requirements and strategies.
• Develop metrics and reports to assist with understanding of implementation progress and areas of improvement.
• Participate and assist in organizational governance forums.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:• Foundational technical expertise, including both business acumen and strategic thinking, as well as the ability to identify issues and provide innovative problem solving.
• Experience in cyber and physical security and risk management.
• Demonstrated knowledge of product security fundamentals.
• Teamwork, influencing, leading, and the ability to drive security projects and initiatives throughout the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to identify risks associated with business processes, operations, cyber security program and technology projects.
• Relevant professional security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, etc.,
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• Executive presence, and the ability to foster relationship management, negotiation and influence.
• Effective communications skills, including both written and verbal, and the ability to translate security requirements and principles into business terms.
• Self-Led and exceptional communication skills with diverse audiences - Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Foundational technical expertise, including both business acumen and strategic thinking, as well as the ability to identify issues and provide innovative problem solving.
