The Business Project Manager will provide leadership and management on key organizational and strategic business projects for the UKG Payroll Service team. The Business Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects of varying complexity that may require cross-functional coordination. The Business Project Manager manages and lead the projects by performing project administration, project tracking, reporting and other team-related activities. This position demands strong time management and organizational skills and effective communication to all levels of the organization.

Reporting to the Director of UKG PS Operations, the Business Project Manager will:
• Work with tax leaders and other cross-functional leaders to create detailed project plans on the UKG PS Operation’s most critical growth initiatives
• Will manage Quarter End (QE) / Year End (YE) project plan for UKG PS Operations team in coordination with and as a member of the QE Committee
• Develop tracking and metric reports with input from work streams
• Maintain project status, provide weekly status reports, and other admin tasks as needed
• Coordination and facilitation of meetings
• Provide clear and accurate communication, promoting project visibility to stakeholders
• Define and validate any applicable requirements / specifications, milestones, deliverables, and success measures within project scope
• Identify and manage risks, mitigation strategies, plan activities, dependencies, impacts, escalation channels, financial budget, and detailed project documentation
• Participates in team project planning/road mapping


• 3-5 years of experience managing projects of medium/large sizes and varying complexity and impact
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills
• Collaborative and customer-focused with ability to develop relationships at all levels of the organization
• Proven analytical, problem solving, decision making, and prioritization skills; ability to juggle multiple related projects
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Highly competent knowledge of Project Management methodologies
• Proven experience in preparation of charters, plans, meeting notes and presentations
• Strong track record of driving a project to completion, on time/budget, and within scope
• Able to look at big picture, conceptualize outcomes and identify trends

Preferred Qualifications:

• CAPM and/or PMP Certification
• Experience working in the payroll and/or tax industry or related projects
• Experience with process improvement or change management projects
