We are seeking an individual that is passionate about technology, with experience in financial modeling, that will bring those two areas together to drive cost optimization of our cloud deployments. As a Cloud Cost Analyst, you will create financial reports and models that will help Cloud leadership make strategic decisions and assist in providing an in-depth view of our current environments. You will work alongside the technical, business and leadership teams to piece together multiple data sets and sources to create a digestible view of the complex platforms in use.

• Design, build and execute on the development of new processes for capturing operational and financial data on spend areas to help drive efficiencies and provide incremental business value added insight to the cloud organization
• Build and present financial reports and models to Cloud leadership
• Develop tracking and reporting tool for outside service and maintenance spend at the project level, including working with vendors, that can be then translated into financial budgets and forecasts and identifying areas where exceeding prior assumptions and where there is an opportunity to improve
• Partner with the Cloud organization teams to build annual budget forecasts and track budget spend progress throughout the year
• Create finance models driven by load/transaction volume to quantify costs based on business initiatives
• As a subject matter expert, provide insights into structure and sources of cloud cost elements, reconciliation of invoices, analysis of trends and breakdowns of costs by environment
• Partner with the Finance team to develop reports and processes to support financial reporting and modeling
• Manage cost baseline models for future environment builds


• 5-8+ years of overall experience along with 3+ years of hands on experience with public cloud technologies, Google Cloud preferred
• Experience in developing financial reports and presentations
• Experience performing Business Analysis and developing new processes
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Self-motivated, proactive individual with ability to multi-task independently in a fast-paced environment
• Highly skilled with Microsoft Office applications, with a strong emphasis on Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
