UKG JOB TITLE: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - Cloud Tools Engineer Level II


OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY
The duties of a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer – Cloud Tools Engineer II will be to support and maintain various Cloud Infrastructure Technology Tools in our hosted production/DR environments.

He/she will assist in the setup and configuration of monitoring solutions, log/security management, monitoring and various password management tools. He/she will also take on small projects or initiatives, with some direction and work through to completion.

Level 2 (Intermediate Level):
A developing professional. Working knowledge and application of business and technical concepts, procedures
and practices. General knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards. General understanding of
business unit/group function. Exercises judgment when interpreting Kronos Incorporated Company Confidential
company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Develops solutions to a variety of problems of
moderate scope and complexity where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors.
Exercises judgment to determine appropriate action. Has knowledge of alternatives and an understanding of their
impact on the business or technological environment. Plans, organizes, and prioritizes own daily work routine to
meet established schedule. Works under general direction regarding the progress of projects and special
assignments. May seek guidance in resolving problems, interpreting established policies, procedures and practices.
Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment. Contributes to the completion of departmental projects and goals.
Errors in judgment, poor recommendations, or failure to achieve results would normally require a moderate
expenditure of resources to rectify.

Responsibilities • Monitor tickets in ServiceNow
• Complete standard tasks that have clearly defined processes and procedures
• Act as a participant on projects.
• Facilitate small tools team projects/initiatives.
• Self-motivated, able to prioritize work, work alone or in a team.
• Managing and configuring cloud solution tools ranging from logging, monitoring and password management.
• Provide support for all pre-defined supported cloud tools.
• Assist users of these tools in development of workplace efficiency and process flow development
• Support and work within the ITIL support structure for Change, Problem and Capacity management
• Collaborate closely with other support teams to provide quality of service to the customer both internal and external.
• Documentation in the form of basic How to documents, designs documentation, performance reporting as well as operational procedures
Skills
• Excellent written and verbal communications.
• Demonstrated capacity to lead under pressure, make decisions in ambiguous situations, and drive cross group consensus in short periods
• Ability to work well interpersonally cross group and cross-discipline at various levels up through executives, as well as influence and manage without direct authority.

Qualifications

BE/BTech degree in Business, Information Systems or Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience and a minimum of 4 years of related work experience.
