Description
This project involves working on changes, releases and deployments of workforce management products for multiple customers hosted across UKG Private Cloud and GCP Public Cloud.A Cloud Operations Specialist would be involved in:
• Hotfix deployments of product fixes released by engineering
• Applying service releases on all customer environments, both shared & dedicated, following the standard instructions
• Performing system configuration changes as requested and/or recommended by support team
• Performing database refreshes on customer request in coordination with database team
• Installing application patches to customer environments basis request from support and other technical teams.
• Performing system health checks on live production environments and sharing recommendations with customers.
• Applying quarterly legislative updates on all HR customers within the maintenance window
• Work in shifts basis the project requirements
The successful applicant will demonstrate how they can apply their skills acquired as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures. They will be expected to resolve a wide range of issues through imaginative as well as practical evaluation of identifiable factors. They will demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. After initial training, they normally would require instructions on their day-to-day work.
Qualifications
• 1 - 3 years of relevant experience in release & deployments management for enterprise software applications hosted in private/public cloud, preferably in GCP (Kronos/Oracle/PeopleSoft/Human Resources/Payroll/Time and Labor preferred).• Experience in performing application level health checks for customers and having a good understanding of it's need.
• Ability to respond, troubleshoot and resolve application level issues/alerts for remotely managed customer base
• Demonstrated track record in delivering quality, on-time technology and business solutions to a diverse customer base.
• Preferred experience working in Services Organizations, working in a 24/7 support model
• Ability to collaborate with clients, identify engagement follow-on opportunities, and have a strong desire to excel.
• Should be well versed & have hands on experience in supporting web applications with SQL database.
• Having hands on experience in automations using scripting languages like Powershell, .NET, etc. would be given preference.
• Should be flexible to work in shifts.
• Adhering to UKG best practices and guide the team to follow the same.
• ITIL certified is preferred
• GCP-CDL certified is preferred
