Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Participate in tax projects involving research, examination, supporting tax audits and analysis as needed.
• Assist with internal review and external audits for transaction taxes
• Strive to eliminate manual functions and redundancy.
• Assist in the development/implementation of new software releases, change requests and enhancements as they pertain to tax functionality.
• Develop relationships and work with other members of the Finance department team (local and international).
• Respond to business unit requests for tax information, generate tax information requests and provide tax requirements.
• Provide assistance in the preparation of federal and state income tax provisions for financial statement disclosure.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business required.
• Minimum of one (1) year Accounting, Tax or Finance work experience or a master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Tax Law required
• A CPA Certification or progressing towards a CPA certification or a LLM focused on Tax law preferred.
• General knowledge of Federal and state tax laws regulations preferred
• Knowledge and experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) preferred
• Microsoft Excel (Pivot Table, Lookup functions, etc.)
