Join a lean, fast-paced team at the forefront of evolving the company to become more data-driven. Reporting to the Manager of Customer Insights and Operations, you’ll bring your sharp analytical and strong communication skills to this hands-on role where you’ll be unearthing insights that help drive efficiency across the end to end process of delivering a partners for life customer experience. You will design, execute, and communicate the data driven vision and build the approach to support piloting cross-functional projects before moving to scale. Your projects will grow customer engagement, retention, and growth of subscription margins looking across the functions of the organization.

Responsibilities
• Identify gaps in data and work cross-functionally to obtain the data needed to complete analysis
• Deliver innovative cross-functional pilot solutions that meet the agreed upon business requirements following a build, measure & learn methodology
• Work with IT department to finalize long term solutions in enterprise systems based on interim prototype
• Partner with the data science team to develop solutions that will be understood by the business users
• Communicate insights to stakeholders at all levels so that the business can understand and take action on the insights provided
• Put our customers first, be curious, open-minded, collaborative, proactive, a critical analytical thinker, excellent communicator, have a positive can-do attitude, and relentless in pursuit of desired outcomes
• Coach and mentor junior analysts on the team

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a data science or analytics role
• Business and analytically-oriented bachelor’s degree (e.g., statistics, economics, finance). MBA or other master’s degree in business intelligence, data science, or analytics preferred
• Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with a proven experience analyzing large, complex data sets from multiple sources
• Strong business orientation and sound business judgment. B2B and SaaS experience a plus
• Practical ability to visualize data, apply critical thinking, and communicate meaningful business insights
• Self-starter with exceptional attention to detail
• Curiosity about insights that could be living in the data
• Proven ability to move fast and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication, active listening, and relationship-building skills
• Comprehensive working knowledge of SQL including the ability to write queries against large data warehouses (such as SQL Server, Oracle, Redshift and ability to understand efficient aggregation and display principles. Experience with Python preferred
• Experience creating dashboards and visualizations for non-technical users using tools such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau
