About the Cyber Security Track
UKG is looking for interns to join our Global Security Engineering Team in our Cyber Security Track! As an intern in our Cyber Security track, you will work in various aspects of a global digital organization and gain experience working cross functionally.

As a Cyber Security Engineering Intern, you will be part of a team working with various security technologies. You will identify attack patterns and how to defend against them. You will be part of a team that operates with a follow-the-sun structure, working to ensure continuous monitoring, detection and response to security events affecting UKG and our customers. You will work closely with team members across the globe in the US, Singapore, France, and India.

Qualifications

In this Cyber Security internship, you will be responsible for the following:

• Review and analyze all work coming into the Security Engineering team
• Help to delegate work items to individual team members
• Create dashboards to provide visibility to team’s critical tasks
• Create and update Security Engineering documentation
• Operate and maintain technologies such as Antivirus, Firewalls, SEIM, CASB etc.
• Read, interpret, write, modify, and execute simple scripts.

Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree – preference will be given to upperclassmen
• Pursuing a major in Information Technology, Systems, MIS, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or another related field
• Able to commit to a full-time internship WORK TERM DATES January 16 – April 24
• Interests in IT, infrastructure, engineering, and modern end user technologies
• Microsoft suite proficiency
• Quick learner with new software or computer applications
• Strong analytical, business process analysis, and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage and connect with internal and external partners
• Strong collaboration skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of tools such as ServiceNow, Jira or Clarity preferred
• Knowledge of operating systems
• Knowledge of OSI model and underlying network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP).
• Knowledge of the common networking and routing protocols
