About the Counter Security Track

Seeking interns to join our Counter Security team for the Spring Semester! As an intern in our Counter Security team, you will work in various aspects of a global organization and gain experience working cross functionally.

Counter Security is a unique team who behave as threat actors to provide the business with real, actionable feedback based on vulnerabilities and their residual risk. The team use Leveraging Tactics, Techniques and Processes demonstrated by bad actors. You will perform penetration testing and Red Team assessments throughout the organization, as an Ethical Hacker on our team, you will focus on network and application testing, while having the opportunity to engage in real work red team scenarios.

In this Ethical Hacking internship, you will be responsible for the following:
• Zero knowledge assessments
• Network Assessments
• Web application assessments
• Assist with Red Teaming
• Provide presentations to the team about specific offensive security topics
• Produce reporting to support your findings and present them to the line of business

Qualifications:
• Self-starting, highly motivated problem solvers that think outside the box
• Understand basic networking and common protocols
• Understand HTTP and can craft a connection for the client and server
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree – preference will be given to upperclassmen
• Able to commit to a full-time internship (1/16-4/21) Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm EST
• Interests in hacking and how the Internet works
• Microsoft suite proficiency
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage and connect with internal and external partners
