Description & Qualifications


The Data Operations Rep II supports the Tax Department in the timely preparation and remittance of payroll tax returns, coupons, amended tax returns and payments for our client base. The Data Operations Rep II will assist with case management, data updates, tax payment and return printing, sorting, and packing, to ensure all federal, state, and local deadlines are met.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage customer data changes and adds
• Complete assigned project tasks and cases, related to data changes
• Conduct an analysis of customer tax filing requirements needed for tax filing set-ups
• Partner with customers to ensure required legal and Payment Services forms are signed and filed with appropriate taxing authority
• Partner with Support and internal teams to update and maintain core customer profile data for existing customers
• Develop strong relationships with new customers and alignment with our internal payroll partners
• Ensure that all customer current period and prior period data is entered and balanced in the UltiPro Tax filing system
• The accurate and timely capture of customer tax-ids, deposit frequencies, and employer specific tax rates with sufficient documentation to enable USG to defend its actions with third parties without further contact from our customers


Required Qualifications:
• Must be able to manage in an organized, proactive, and independent manner to meet all required time frames and commitments
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Proven case management, auditing, and workflow experience
• Associates degree in Business, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent work experience will be considered

Preferred Qualifications:
• General understanding of payroll and payroll tax industry experience
• Experience with data auditing, case management experience, and data control
• 2+ years business experience in client services
• Process/operational excellence experience is a plus
• Previous experience with SaaS based client data profiling, configuration, and data updates
