Description

As the Director of Finance Business Operations, you will be responsible for the global operations of the Order Management team, Customer Master, Item Master, Customer Registration, and Customer Licensing. This position reports into the Vice President, Sales Finance. In this key and highly visible role, you will be responsible for the primary areas below:

Order to Invoice
• Responsible for our Global Order to Invoice end-to-end process design, deployment, and optimization including working with IT and other groups to implement and enhance supporting systems.
• Develops and manages policies and procedures governing our Global Order to Invoice process.
• Develops enterprise-wide process level KPI’s, SLA’s and monitors performance to ensure continuous improvements are developed.
• Ensures effective cross-functional communication and collaboration with many stakeholders including Product Managers, IT, Finance and Sales Operations.
• Coordinates with cross functional groups to design, standardize, and reinforce end-to-end process improvements.
• Effectively collaborate with process owners and internal audit to ensure controls are supported by the processes and coordinate process control changes.
• Takes personal ownership of processes and outcomes, monitors performance and ensures that individuals accept responsibility for outcomes.
• Business Continuity Plan owner
Operational Business Areas
• Manage, develop, and lead a team of 15 local employees and 10 employees in our India Finance Services Center.
• Structure and manage all aspects of key business initiatives and projects including the definition of objectives, scope, plans & scorecards, driving cross-functional engagement, problem solving, documentation, execution, etc.
• Continuously reshape department best practices to align with best practices for that function.
• Liaise and maintain strong relationships with other departments, including finance and other business stakeholders, to ensure processes and outcomes align with business expectations.
• Provide outstanding leadership to team members, including opportunities for coaching and development, to maximize output, quality, and employee engagement
• Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, process adoption, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities. Measures performance against process requirements. Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls. Validate process adoption and process scaling.
• Identify patterns and problem areas and implement effective solutions to increase efficiency.
• Delivers presentations, training and awareness courses including measurement, analysis, improvement, and control. Communicates team progress.
• Lead and drive merger, acquisition and integration activity ensuring consistent processes and policies are aligned and best practices adopted, where needed.
• Coordinate with cross functional groups to design, standardize, and reinforce end-to-end process improvements.
• Special projects and assignments, as necessary.

Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven ability and experience in a Director Level Operations-type role
• Order Management leadership experience in a Global company
• Software Industry/SaaS experience helpful
• Bachelor's Degree with a strong preference for an MBA/Master’s Degree
• 10-15+ Years Relevant Experience
• Exceptional Leadership Skills, Strong Organizational Skills, Outstanding Written and Verbal Communication Skills
• Results-Oriented leader
