UKG is looking for a talented individual eager to help enhance and expand UKG’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Program. You will manage business-critical work across a range of ESG topics that will broaden your skills as you help advance the overall program goals. Essential Functions
In this role, you will be responsible for:
• Operationalizing ESG requirements derived from regulations, published guidance, and leading practices
• Developing strategic plans, participating in data collection (including Scope I, II and III emissions), preparing results reports, and providing content as necessary for communications
• Working with key stakeholders within core functional groups to promote, monitor, and implement ESG objectives, including:
- Energy and material consumption, including audits and analysis
- Sustainable purchasing, supply chain diversity, vendor tiering
- Human rights issues and downstream labor practices
- Data privacy, cybersecurity practices
- Ethical product design and customer welfare
- Identifying and reducing sustainability risks across the Company through effective tools, awareness programs, and guidance as a result of regular monitoring/analysis
- Collaborating with key UKG stakeholders to prepare and drive ESG team meetings, including primary, leadership, and governance groups

Working with the Director of Compliance and ESG Operations to develop, enhance, and manage the execution of UKG’s ESG Program, including:
• Creating and implementing ESG policies, programs, and processes; coordinating with key stakeholders as appropriate
• Developing and leading ESG training and awareness programs, including the creation of modern and engaging content that reflects the Company’s values, culture, and commitment to ESG. Tasks may include content development, translation vendor management and coordination with appropriate learning organization(s) for training deployment
• Leading efforts focused on internal and external ESG-related auditing (such as CDP, EcoVadis, and Sedex), responding to investor questionnaires/surveys
• Supporting other stakeholders (customers, vendors, partners) on ESG – standardizing and operationalizing the process for responding to internal/external requests; developing processes and tools for answering or gathering documentation to address such requests
• Working with cross-functional team members to drive a variety of marketing efforts including internal and external websites, press releases, published reports, and media promotional opportunities
• Developing, monitoring, and managing Key Performance Indicators, goals, and metrics for strategic and reporting purposes for the UKG Executive Committee and Board
• Providing recommendations for strategic opportunities to maximize the positive environmental, social, and financial impacts of the organization


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Bachelor’s Degree required - advanced degree preferred
• Experience managing ESG programs/projects/teams strongly preferred
• 5-7 years proven program management experience
• Strong personal and professional interest in ESG initiatives and programs
• Ability to master new technologies and tools as needed
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated strength in leadership and managing a diverse set of stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver presentations to a variety of internal and external audiences
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Ability to work effectively with minimal direction for feedback but aware enough to know when to ask for direction
• Self-motivated and driven to exceed goals
