Description
The Employee Communications Strategist II (APAC) will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of communication strategies that engage and inform UKG employees across the APAC region. Working closely with the Principal Employee Communications Strategist, this role will support the localization of global programs as well as regional-specific engagement activities across India, Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore. The position requires strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to develop and execute communications plans and materials that engage employees and create knowledge and awareness of key initiatives. The person in this role requires the ability to collaborate and work effectively with internal stakeholders in a matrix environment. Candidates must be self-starters and motivated to provide excellent customer service.Collaborate with the Principal Employee Communications Strategist to implement communication strategies that support the overall engagement plans of the APAC region
Create and manage local content aligned with our core branding, developing newsletters and communications that resonate with our diverse audience.
Support local communication-led activities, ensuring alignment with the Global Employee Communications strategy. Work closely with the HR team to drive communication initiatives related to key awareness days, wellbeing, and other relevant topics.
Craft compelling internal communications, including emails, articles, newsletters, blogs, presentations, and other business-related content.
Maintain consistency and timeliness in all messaging, ensuring that functional initiatives are effectively communicated to the appropriate audiences.
Leverage technology to enhance communication programs and contribute to the execution of our digital workplace strategy.
Assist in developing and maintaining communication processes to ensure adherence to established practices and best standards.
Identify and collect key metrics to measure the effectiveness of communication programs, providing insights for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Business, or related fields.Professional qualifications in written and content production, creation, and management.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with others, seeking and incorporating feedback from team members.
Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills.
Strong multitasking abilities, capable of managing multiple high-priority issues and setting appropriate expectations.
Customer-focused with a positive and professional attitude.
