The Program Manager is responsible for driving, tracking the software development within the engineering organization. The role will work across the engineering organization to plan, manage, and drive the execution of multiple projects for an enterprise SaaS product. Works closely with Senior Engineering Leadership including Engineering Directors, Product Line Directors, and others to ensure successful, efficient, and on time releases. This role will be the go-to person in the organization that is going to orchestrate and shepherd the flow of software from development to production.

For the UKG Ready Team
• Manage multiple programs, projects and working with cross-functional internal and vendor teams
• Work in a fast-paced environment
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
• Develop, monitor, and track program/project progress
• Identify issues and risks, define a mitigation plans and track them to resolution or escalate appropriately
• Identify dependencies and facilitate communications with dependent/impacted teams to negotiate and establish agreement of responsibilities and plans.
• Manage changes to the project scope and schedule
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
• Communicate program/project status to all relevant stakeholders
• Successfully manage the relationship with all stakeholders
• Manage Scrum teams, lead SAFe PI planning & Scrum of Scrums as needed
• Contribute to Agile Center of Excellence and lead process improvement activities


• Strong understanding of project and program management best practices across the software development and product delivery lifecycles
• Experience in program management of commercial SaaS or Online Products and Services
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and SAFe software development methodologies
• Proven working experience in project management in Engineering organizations
• Minimum of 5-8 years of professional experience
• Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Experience working with multi location/remote teams
• Ability to influence others even when you do not have direct authority over them
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Certifications, such as PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, LPM, are a plus
