About the Governance, Risk, and Compliance Track:
UKG is looking for an intern to join our Enterprise Risk Team:
Governance and Compliance team for the Spring term! As an intern in our Enterprise Risk: Governance and Compliance team, you will work in various aspects of a global organization and gain experience working cross functionally.
The Enterprise Risk team is responsible for supporting UKG in the identification, prioritization, and remediation of risk across the organization. The Governance and Compliance team within Enterprise Risk supports the team by setting governing standards and managing all compliance audits with third party audit firms. This internship will give you the opportunity to understand how UKG scopes, plans, and executes SOC 1, SOC 2, and ISO audits.
In this Cyber Risk internship, you will be responsible for the following:
• Support the Compliance team in preparing for the SOC audits including planning scoping sessions with leaders across the organization, documenting processes for audit, and educating stakeholders on audit responsibilities.
• Support the Compliance team in enhancing the ISO program by creating a repository of all evidence and owners needed to support the program.
• Work within a new GRC tool to enable user adoption and ensure the tool meets team members' requirements.
• Other projects and tasks overseen by the Governance and Compliance team based on need and aligning to career interests.
Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree – preference will be given to upperclassmen• Pursuing a major in MIS, Computer Science, Accounting or another related field
• Able to commit to a full-time internship January 8 - April 19
• Interests in Enterprise Risk, Cyber Risk, Compliance, and Governance
• Microsoft suite proficiency
• Quick learner with new software or computer applications
• Very strong attention to detail
• Clear written communication
• Strong analytical, business process analysis, and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage and connect with internal and external partners
Internship Eligibility Details:
