The UKG IT organization is seeking to add a Lead Business Systems Analyst to support the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with ServiceNow. The successful candidate must be a self-starter and be a team lead for the Enterprise Service Management Team; able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, own deliverables end to end, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic environment. They will be passionate about their work, self-motivated, detail oriented and have excellent problem-solving abilities. This individual must also work well under pressure to meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines within short time constraints.

Must have a strong business analysis background, be detail oriented, and have excellent troubleshooting skills. Great communication skills (verbal and written) are a must.  Responsibilities of this position include day-to-day support and system administration, and ongoing maintenance of the ServiceNow platform supporting key ITIL processes like Request management, Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Asset, Service Portal, and more.

The Lead Business Systems Analyst for ServiceNow, stays abreast of new features and functionality available on the ServiceNow Platform, he/she works closely with Business stakeholders, Project Managers, and IT Software Engineers (for ServiceNow). Required technical and analysis experience on the ServiceNow platform must be at least 4-8 years.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience on the ServiceNow platform
o Required platform experience in ITSM and at least 2 other areas including, but not limited to: ITBM, CMDB, ITAM, SAM, service portal, scoped application experience
• Solid knowledge of ServiceNow platform and ITSM process best practice
• Current on ITIL and Certified Business Analysis Professional certifications
• Nice to have: ServiceNow certifications; and/or able to acquire two in short order upon starting role.
• Solid understanding of ITIL processes, and SDLC concepts
o Nice to have: Certified Scrum Master, PMP
• 3-6 years knowledge and experience with these technical skills:
• JavaScript, HTML, SQL, JavaScript
• Knowledge and experience working on requirements for integration work (REST, SOAP, WSDL, LDAP)
• Able to communicate well and build and grow relationships with stakeholders, as well as ability to translate business requirements into clear concise stories/acceptance criteria
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Inquisitive personality with a strong desire to learn new concepts
• Ability to absorb, apply, and teach newly learned concepts
• Active seeker for personal improvement, with a strong ability to apply feedback from peers
• Able to communicate well and build lasting relationships with stakeholders, as well as ability to translate business requirements into technical design
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Provides role of SCRUM Master for the team, key player to drive successful sprint planning, burndown, and retrospectives
• Responsible for working closing with team managers and Program/Project managers for Resource management
• Responsible for IT ServiceNow Governance Board scheduling and organization of slide decks/topics, follow up on action items
• Ability to lead small to medium-sized projects, including team coordination, technical design, and scoping with minimal supervision
