Job Responsibilities:• Manage various aspects of UKG events from start to finish
• Liaison with cVent, to build out all aspects of the meeting including registration, session management, mobile app, session streaming, etc.
• Manage pre-event, onsite, and post-event logistics
• Work with internal stakeholders on goals of events, and then plan logistics to achieve those goals
• Work with internal teams (i.e. creative, sales, etc.) and external partners (AV, DMC's, etc.) to plan and execute logistics
• Maintain event-specific budget and reconcile all transactions accordingly
• Manage food and beverage, audio-visual, wired/wireless connectivity and all other logistics necessary for a successful meeting
• Create and manage attendee list, registration and hotel rooming lists
• Build strong relationships and garner trust with internal stakeholders
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:• 5+ years’ experience in managing events and vendor relations.
• 5+ years’ experience using Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be proficient in all aspects of cVent
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally including weekends, oversee vendor execution, and ensure UKG branding and processes are being adhered to
• Detail Oriented, Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Proven success in executing multiple events simultaneously and using both internal and external resources.
• Strong project management skills, analytical ability, both creative and strategic thinking.
• Event coordinator, Marketing and/or meeting planner background
• Motivated self-starter
• CMP Certification a plus
Physical Requirements:
• Be able to lift at least 40 lbs. when packing and unpacking supplies for an event.
• Willingness to work long hours prior to and during events.
• Be able to be on your feet for over 12 hours while event is going on.
