The UKG Global Engagement Manager (GEM) serves as a critical focal point within the organization for the successful planning and delivery of comprehensive workforce management and HCM solutions to select UKG multinational enterprise customers. The GEM will work strategically with key internal entities to drive the best possible outcomes for UKG’ global customers and for the UKG organization and is accountable as the services leader in these programs to promote a comprehensive global approach that ensures optimum efficiency and direction.

The GEM will:

• Demonstrate a proven ability to bring together multiple concurrent projects within a large program, tying them with strategic vision and focus
• Understand customers’ high-level business needs and ensure that their project plan meets those requirements and the agreed upon Statement of Work
• Interact frequently with all speaking partners to define project requirements and identify solutions consistent with defined terms, methodology, policy, and regulations
• Demonstrate consistent attention to detail as well as the ability to function strategically within the account; proactively look at ‘big picture’ for project/customer short- and long-term goals; identify and drive additional revenue opportunities within account
• Be accountable for the delivery of UKG services supporting the program to time, quality & budget and monitor the overall program progress and status of the workstreams within the program
• Be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, monitoring, delivery and the overall health and effectiveness of all country deployment elements within the boundaries and established and agreed framework
• Oversee and mitigate deployment-level risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions and change control
• Build and maintain relationships with UKG sales, services, operations and support representatives from different UKG geographies
• Assign a wide range of tasks based on skills, experience, language, cultural fit and availability; clearly communicate task priorities, helping personnel adjust workload as needed
• Leverage customer relationship history to maintain continuity of process and alignment
• Build alliances inside and outside the organization to secure the most appropriate resources for customer deliverables
• Ensure UKG upper leadership is apprised of program status through regular written reports and ad hoc oral briefings
• Monitor project and/or personnel performance, checking actual performance against planned performance to ensure technical, schedule, and budget goals are met or exceeded
• Prepare and support quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with UKG and customer executive leadership.
• Provide UKG personnel with timely, constructive, and actionable feedback that increases individual and team effectiveness
• Partner with UKG leadership in EMEA and APAC for furtherance of the regional and global goals
• Promote and cultivate UKG’s ability to deliver at the highest levels in the existing market(s)

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing global programs for UKG enterprise customers
• Relationships with partners
• Ability to build and maintain strong teams of committed individuals
• Foreign language skills a plus
• Ability and willingness to travel overseas as needed
• Willingness to work nontraditional hours
• EMEA and APAC experience preferred
