Description
The GES Services Architect – New Logo Enterprise / Mid-Market is responsible for consulting with customers to analyze and understand the customer's business needs and create a services solution that delivers on those requirements. This position will be the focal point for effective communications with the customer/prospect for the development of a services solution. The Services Architect is expected to maintain a thorough knowledge of UKG’s Pro & WFM products, services and practices and work with Sales & Delivery teams to create and coordinate the proposed solution and pricing. The Services Architect will be responsible for driving revenue by evaluating, product positioning, and selling the optimal services solution for the customer. The Services Architect will be part of the GES (Global Engagement Services) team partnering with sales and customers for services opportunities.Primary Responsibilities:
• Partner within GES, UKG New Logo Enterprise / Mid-Market Sales organization and all Services lines of business to pursue and close opportunities
• Develop an understanding of each target customer’s business, operations, and industry trends
• Understand the customer’s strategic business and technology goals and create the proposed service approach and solution
• Drive the sales process to completion coordinating all Services resources and documentation such as proposals, SOW’s, RFP responses, etc.
• Assist the GES Strategist with maintaining the pipeline and communicating it to Sales and Services Management
• Developing customer Services presentations, SOW’s, responding to RFP’s, estimating costs, and negotiating contracts
• Contribute to the improved efficiency of the sales function by participating in the development and deployment of appropriate services sales tools/templates
• Grow services revenue by interacting with all levels of customer management and proposing solutions that provide business benefit
• Participate in Business Assessments as required
• Provide services quotes and updates on opportunities using existing systems
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:• 8+ years in a professional services role, ideally 4+ years in application software implementation and/or services sales
• Knowledge and understanding of HCM, WFM, Scheduling, Leave Management, or similar domain product/systems required
• Pro HCM implementation experience
• Previous experience with customer presentations, developing SOW’s, responding to RFP’s, estimating projects, and negotiating contracts
• Ability to develop and manage complex Services solutions for Enterprise and Mid-Market level organizations
• Well versed in software implementation methodology with experience defining project requirements, managing project engagements, developing project plans, etc.
• Ability to travel up to 25% as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in UKG Pro strongly preferred
• Develop good working relationships with staff in Services and Sales organizations
• Skilled in the art of consultative selling and negotiating techniques
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to effectively articulate the services value proposition as part of the overall business solution
• Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with C-Level executives in an “influence without authority” role
• Understands the impact and implications of political, social, economic, technological, and competitive trends on UKG and customer organizations
• Working knowledge of nuances of the Enterprise-level business space preferred
• B.A. / B.S. degree, with a focus in business or Information technology preferred
