Description

This position is a key support resource to the Global HR team. Key responsibilities include project and program management, HR data management and day to day oversight and management of operations within the global immigration function.

Key Job Responsibilities:
• Manage day to day global immigration program for all legal entities under the UKG umbrella.
• Main point of contact for employees, HR and business leaders, recruiters and candidates regarding any immigration matters and decisions regarding immigration program and individual immigration cases.
• Present business leaders with forecasts and immigration regulation updates.
• Document cost estimation and obtain management approvals of each immigration case
• Liaise with immigration attorneys and vendors to ensure compliance, optimal process timeline, cost effectiveness and maximum efficiency on a global scale
• Carry out in depth immigration evaluations for any candidates requiring sponsorship. Use the information gathered to make thoughtful recommendations to the business to ensure the lowest possible risk to the candidate and the company.
• Monitor expiration dates of immigration documentation to ensure Federal I-9 and work authorization compliance
• Fully manage the planning and implementation of work permit/visa renewals of current employees to ensure all actions are carried out on schedule without delays
• Provide high touch assistance and service to employees regarding any immigration related concerns or questions to ensure a positive employee experience
• Partner with the business to provide updates on regulations, policy changes, and cost saving measures for the immigration program
• Manage and adhere to retention policies to remain legally compliant in regards to immigration documentation
• Partner with the global mobility team to analyze immigration options for all requested international work assignments
• Manage announcement and triage employee concerns/questions that result from governmental executive orders, travel bans or proclamations that may impact our current immigration population
• Continue designing and implementing new immigration policies as UKG continues to grow and combine our international business units

Qualifications

Educational Requirements:
• 3+ years’ experience in an immigration related role
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resources preferred

Other Skills:
• Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
• High level of self-initiative
• Effective time management skills with attention to detail
• Demonstrated sense of urgency with an emphasis on delivering results
• Ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities and demonstrated flexibility and resilience in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work with all levels of staff
