Do you have a passion for translating technical requirements into common business value and ROI for customers? Do you enjoy explaining this to others in plain English? UKG is hiring a storyteller to help develop messaging that enables sales reps to capture the attention of prospects and customers. In this role, you’ll work across industries and functions to create thought-leadership material addressing how our solutions help solve business challenges such as labor forecasting, scheduling, recruiting and retaining employees at the industry-level. The ideal candidate is a strong writer with a balance of content development, communication, project management and presentation skills experience. You’ll be joining a diverse team made up of marketing, content operations and analytics professionals.

Responsibilities:
• Develop original content and messaging on topics such as how UKG products solve business issues, customer best practices, key trends and our presence and experience in various industries
• Work with subject matter experts to develop 1-2 thought-leadership blogs per month
• Map product capabilities to industry-specific business problems
• Reusing and repurposing existing content into different format for different personas and needs
• Curate personalized content from various sources to specific end users in Sales or customers and prospects
• Communicate findings effectively and convincingly
• Develop easy to use and meaningful sales tools including collateral, case
studies, presentations, etc.
• Work independently and cooperatively in teams, depending on the project
• Work cross-functionally with departments including but not limited to: sales, presales, services, creative, field marketing, corporate marketing, corporate communications, and partners
• Develop and deliver impactful training and presentations

Qualifications

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, English (or related)
• 3-5+ years of professional work experience
• 3+ years content development experience at a enterprise level company
• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills and an ability to work and collaborate cross-functionally
• Aptitude for technology and ability to connect and translate concepts to customer value
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines to successful completion
• Ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
• Ability to be persuasive and diplomatic and demonstrate a strong interest in understanding what motivates people to purchase products or solutions
• Marketing or Sales Support experience preferred
• Self-starter who can identify problems and proactively suggest then execute solutions with minimal hands on supervision
• Exceptional public speaking and presentation skills
• Proficiency in MS Office suite
• Flexibility to travel 10%+

Pluses:
• MBA
• Experience in the software, workforce management, or human capital management industry
• Applicants with experience in a fast-paced marketing or PR agency are encouraged to apply
