Description

The Solution Consultant is responsible for implementing UKG products in customer environments at multiple locations, multi-vendor or multi-protocol environments. The successful candidate will utilize the defined implementation process and industry knowledge to guide customers through the implementation and to meet the established implementation milestones and targeted completion dates. The successful candidate will implement and support products that Kronos sells to its customers and will work closely with other Kronos team members to complete tasks towards completing system implementations. The ideal candidate will also possess good client management skills.

Other responsibilities will include understanding and configuring interfacing products, follow practices and procedures in analyzing a variety of business situations, provide knowledge transfer for customers/partners and creating process documentation, diagrams and feature specifications.

The Solutions Consultant will work in highly complex environments, requiring complex multi-product solutions, customization and integration with other third-party products. The SC will also need to be highly adaptive to different customer environments and be able to independently handle discussions with senior management.

Specific duties include: -
•Driving requirement assessment workshops with senior members of the customer organization.
•Design the solution best fit for the customer requirements, while limiting deviations from standard UKG functionalities
•Preparing functional and technical solution design documents and “Configuring” and delivering the solution to the customer
•Work with the project managers to align with project milestones and ensure timely billing
•Collaborate with pre-sales and service support on solution design for new prospects and upsell to existing customers
•Work with Kronos and client team members with minimal supervision
•Lead and actively participate in the Client Configuration design, build, test and deployment activities
•Presenting in front of client audiences in person, over the web as well as the phone
•Analyzing customer configurations and thinking out of the box to resolve and or provide a workaround for set up issues
•Travel up to 50% may be required

Qualifications

Should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a Computer Sciences or related field
•3-5 years experience implementing or supporting enterprise software applications and hardware used in web environments (Kronos/Oracle/PeopleSoft/SAP Human Resources/Payroll/Time and Labor)
•4-5 Years of experience on Kronos Timekeeper, Accruals is a must
•Experience with requirement gathering, solution designing, implementing and configuring on Kronos WFC
•Prior experience in supporting functional testing, integration testing and UAT
•Demonstrated track record in delivering quality, on-time technology and business solutions to a diverse customer base
•Solid interpersonal skills to interface with co-workers and customers and manage specific tasks to completion with minimal direction
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to serve as both a Solution Consultant and Project Manager is a plus

Additional skills preferred
•Experience in 3-tier web based technology and Java
• Latest SQL and Oracle
• Latest Windows Server Operating Systems
•SSL, LDAP, Single Sign On
• Kronos Advanced scheduling, Integrations and Reporting skills are a plus.
