Description

• Analyze and prepare journal entries and reconciliations for various accounts including accruals, prepaids, leases and other assets for the EMEA region
• Timely Monthly/Quarterly/Annual accounting books closure
• Assist with external US GAAP audits in the EMEA region and coordinate with all stakeholders involved in the audit process
• Assist with Statutory accounting process and support EMEA audits & Tax/VAT audits including coordination and follow up with stakeholders involved the audit process
• Collaborate with Corporate Teams & External consultants to respond queries related to preparation & filing of Company Financials & Direct Tax Returns
• Prepare and submit monthly reconciliation in Blackline tool and provide quarterly BS Flux commentary
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate intercompany accounting
• Assist with the implementation of best-in-class accounting processes
• Help drive process improvement initiatives by applying strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of Accounting work experience for the EMEA region including EMEA statutory accounting preparation knowledge
• Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accounting or Finance
• Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles and strong analytical skills
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a must
• Oracle experience a plus
• Ability to embrace technology and change
• Strong people and customer service skills, advocate positive working relationships among internal and external customers
• Well-organized, extreme attention to detail and a self-directed individual
• Prior experience working remotely with a US multinational company would be a plus
