This position works as part of the Governance, Risk and Compliance department, which is responsible for supporting business continuity activities across the enterprise.

The role offers the opportunity to be engaged in all facets of business continuity, including security, privacy, risk management, and security and compliance program development. As a member of the department, the individual will be committed to overall data protection, risk management and its role in the company's continued
success. The Business Continuity Analyst is a highly visible role that interfaces with key stakeholders in the organization and may also support UKG customers and Partners. The position demands an organized, action‐oriented team player with the ability to prioritize daily work and support multiple initiatives simultaneously; strong communication and customer focus is required. The ideal candidate has prior experience or is familiar with supporting and maintaining the implementation of business continuity strategies and solutions, including risk assessments, business impact analyses, business continuity plans, and documentation of business continuity recovery procedures in compliance with ISO 27001/22301 Standards. Additionally, the candidate will support the planning, conducting, and debrief of regular mock disaster/disruption exercises to test the adequacy of existing plans, strategies, and updating procedures and plans regularly in conjunction with adhering to compliance standards (i.e., ISO 27001/22301).


• Utilize industry experience and knowledge in the execution of standard Risk Assessments, Business Impact Analyses, and other Business Continuity tools and capabilities
• Leverage relevant Business Continuity strategies in time of disaster to recover company’s critical business functions
• Assess the regular validation and testing of documented Business Continuity plans
• Coordinate with plan owners to review existing crisis management plans
• Monitor performance metrics for critical business functions
• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of training and awareness materials
• Guide plan owners with the development and implementation of BC plans for required IT business units that include written risk mitigation action plan
• Develop strong working relationships and communications with internal and external Business Continuity stakeholders
• Reinforce the application of industry best practices and Standards
• Provide expertise in supporting the strategic improvement or mitigation of business interruption and other risks caused by business, regulatory, or industry‐specific change initiatives
• Maintain ongoing maintenance of Business Continuity management system database
• Analyze and understand IT gaps on essential business functions or information systems to identify acceptable recovery time periods and resource requirements


• BS/AS degree in IT related field or equivalent experience with minimum of 5 – 7 years overall work experience
• Demonstrated experience working in business continuity, information security, risk management and information security frameworks including ISO27001/22301
• Strong business acumen to include strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of business continuity practices and risk
• Knowledge of business continuity program life cycle plans
• Ability to collaborate with others to develop contingency plans
• Must have strong organizational, decision making and problem‐solving skills.
• Attention to detail is critical
• Familiarity with business continuity management systems
• Experience with mass notification tools
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) certification preferred
