Job Summary:
UKG is currently seeking a self-driven, highly energetic, experienced individual with stellar communications skills to join our Payment Services Team as a Lead Business Project Manager. The Lead Business Project Manager is a critical role within the Payment Services team working closely with the production teams and leadership to ensure timely and optimal delivery of strategic initiatives as well as production support. We are looking for strong, focused individuals who are change agents with exceptional solutioning skills. This role, reporting to a Director within Payment Services, will have set responsibilities around the employment tax cycle as well as project driven initiatives assisting leadership and working with other groups to ensure the overall team's success and contributing to overarching organizational goals and initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Be the lead and primary interface between operations teams
• Create and maintain achievable project plans, schedules, constraints, and track risks
• Design cadence and process for broadly communicating procedures relative to goals
• Facilitate large cross functional meetings focused on solving complex processes and issues
• Develop tracking and progress metric reports
• Partner with organizational readiness and work stream leads on cross-functional projects
• Provide operational support including meeting planning, status reporting and facilitating communication
• Lead projects or initiatives for the Payment Services team focused on system implementation, integration, performance, processes as well as ongoing cyclical or calendared events
• Facilitate large cross functional meeting
• Assist the leadership team in prioritizing team goals and responsibilities based on competing projects and daily activities
• Elevate risks and concerns
• Partner with teams across Payment Services to ensure timely delivery of projects/tasks


Required Qualifications:
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), and with various project management tool suites (Clarizen, Project)
• Ability to work independently and within a team-based environment
• Excellent analytical and follow up skills
• Ability to tailor presentations and communication style based on audience
(which will range from individual contributors to C level management)

Preferred Qualifications:
• 8+ years of successful Project Management experience within business operations preferably in the areas of Payroll, Employment Tax, HCM, or Services
• Demonstrated capability of managing cross functional teams with competing priorities (customer, product, services, etc.).
• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational and prioritization skills; ability to juggle multiple projects
Interpersonal Skills:
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and above average administrative skills
• Good time management skills with the drive to ensure others meet production and initiative goals
• Capable of creating and maintaining collaborative relationships at all levels of the organization
