Responsibilities
• Work with domain experts, perform data studies and analysis on billions of records from our one-of-a-kind dataset to identify meaningful business opportunities
• Apply statistics, machine learning, and a variety of other techniques to analyze the data, generate models, and prototype new AI solutions
• Build production quality prototypes and collaborate with engineering resources to implement the solution in a scalable cloud framework like Google’s Vertex AI
• Communicate findings to stakeholders and a broader audience of technical and non-technical persons.
• Thrive in different working environments. Both in independent, self-driven, research and development, and in collaborative, team-driven, projects.
• Lead new initiatives that will bring business value to UKG and mentor others
Qualifications
• Education and experience in a quantitative field. PhD plus 3 years of experience, or master’s degree plus 5 years of experience.• Substantial depth in at least 1-2 machine learning or AI subfields, including but not limited to regression, classification, deep learning, time-series analysis, clustering, NLP, transfer learning, etc.
• Practical ability to visualize data, communicate meaningful business insights, and utilize them effectively.
• Programming experience and the ability to rapidly develop prototypes of new solutions
• Experience with big data tools and frameworks, such as Cloud ML, Big Query, etc.
• Experience with ML Models deployed in SaaS applications
• SQL, or experience with another database technology.
• Python, or experience with another scripting language. Experience with programming packages like Pandas is desired.
• Willingness to learn new tools as they become needed.
