This DevOps Engineer(Automation) will be responsible for all aspects of the code deployment pipeline from SCM check-in through production deployment and shall be …
• Responsible for building and supporting deployment automation of various .Net/Java based projects which is repeatable, efficient and cost-effective.
• Responsible for analyzing all deployment/infrastructure related issues across Engineering / Production environments and provide swift resolution.
• Participates in building efficient automation solutions that are resilient, fault tolerant and are upgraded with no downtime.
• Work with the Operations team to build production deployment processes & systems.
• Automating processes using Cloud Native solutions with the help of scripting languages (Shell/Python) and Google Cloud API’s.
• Working knowledge of Powershell, Ansible and Terraform for GCP Deployments
• Have solid foundation in CI/CD concepts and well-versed with the pipeline to push changes to production.
• Participates in code and design reviews to ensure quality and conformance to product standards.
• Possess a keen eye to detail as well as excellent debugging / troubleshooting skills.
• Build and support custom tools that facilitate development and QA teams
• Building and supporting custom tools that facilitate and enhance the productivity of development and QA teams
• Deploying and working with Public Clouds - preferred- Google Cloud
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of the product
• Identify bottlenecks & bugs and devise solutions to address and mitigate these problems
• Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization
• Demonstrates accountability and ownership for high quality product releases to internal and external customers
• Candidate should have attitude to focus on delivering results, keeping in mind the Big Picture – end to end prospective
• Should be a good team player, builds trust with team, internal external customers

Qualifications

5-6 years’ engaging and working with cross-functional enterprise level software development projects using Agile development methodologies such as Kanban or Scrum
- Recent experience working with Terraform, Ansible and public cloud deployment platforms such as GCP or AWS (Optional - Kubernetes, Docker, Packer)
- Strong experience working with continuous integration and continuous delivery
- Strong drive to automate everything
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, Ruby, bash scripts etc.
- Experience with Git and its workflows
- Self-motivated, continuous improvement mindset and willing to get the job done
- Ability to manage and balance multiple deliverables concurrently in an environment with shifting priorities
