Description & Qualifications


This dynamic position, residing in the Finance organization, requires an innovative individual capable of affecting change within the organization. This person will work across all areas of the Global Finance organization to achieve greater efficiency and automation, using UKG business applications and/or reporting tools. They will work closely with Finance members and cross-functional groups to analyze existing or proposed system solutions and processes. This person should be comfortable working with all levels of the organization in recommending new solutions and processes.

Key Responsibilities
• Build, and maintain, relationships with key finance stakeholders and promote effective information sharing across teams
• Assist in identifying impacts to Finance teams of upstream system changes being planned and communicate to impacted teams
• Participate in specific business activities relating to strategic enterprise initiatives surrounding the ERP/CPQ/EDW spaces.
• Determine root cause issues, determine scope of their impact and prioritize issues to team for resolution.
• Assist in Compile impactful deliverables including (but not limited to) training collateral, systems visualizations, summary presentation.
• Collaborate effectively with technical resources including developers, quality analysts, business analysts and/or reporting analysts.
• Participate in knowledge sharing sessions across Finance functional teams.
• Assist in the coordination, prioritization and monitoring of improvements with all contributing resources across the organization.
• Act as a liaison between Finance and technical teams to ensure a full understanding of requirements on both ends.
• Provide subject matter expertise in the following areas of specialization as listed on posted position:
o If Business Applications (ERP, and other financial systems)
○ Discuss system related topics on global finance process improvement initiatives.
○ Conduct business process analyses and needs assessments to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.
○ Consult with Finance, IT and other cross-functional teams on ways to leverage technology to improve Finance efficiency and effectiveness.
○ Support business leads in the presentation of high-level business requirements for system implementations and modifications.
o If Reporting and Analysis:
○ Bring a strong background in the reporting and modeling of financial data and metrics
○ Work with Finance business partners to develop well organized KPI’s, primarily through an Enterprise Data Warehouse and reporting platform.
○ Work with functional and technical teams to identify data anomalies and resolve data quality issues to ensure report accuracies.
○ Through analysis of operational data, identify data quality issues and participate in their prioritization, scoping, and resolution.


• Bachelor’s degree with an accounting or finance concentration
• Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills; ability to weigh various suggested solutions against the original business needs and choose the most effective solution
• Broad technical aptitude; ability to learn new systems and information quickly
• Minimum 5 years business experience in the use of business applications
• High degree of initiative and capacity to lead multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment that is constantly evolving
• Strong analytical skills required, including a demonstrated understanding of how to interpret customers’ business needs and translate them into technical requirements
• Innovative - ability to challenge the status quo, to achieve greater efficiencies in the Finance organization
• Experience working with ERP and/or business intelligence/reporting applications (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, Power BI, Alteryx, TM1, and/or
• Experience working on cross functional teams and also display the initiative to work independently
• Excellent communication (verbal and written), collaboration, planning and organization skills
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite, Visio, and reporting/query tools
