The Industry Marketing team at UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) is seeking a skilled and collaborative Industry Marketing Manager to assist in driving growth within various segments of the sales organization.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who takes the initiative to understand and become an expert in the industries they’ll be supporting – along with learning how human capital management and workforce management solutions can help organizations thrive. This multi-faceted role works in harmony with internal and external stakeholders to develop marketing strategies that drive our efforts in sales lead generation, program marketing, events, field outreach, and account-based marketing.
This is an individual contributor role who will work closely with five Industry Marketing vertical teams and cross-functional partners to define and execute innovative marketing programs for multiple sales teams. You will source and develop content to tell impactful stories relevant to the industries Sales are pursuing. You will be an impactful storyteller that highlights trends, challenges and solutions highlighting UKG differentiation and value.

Core Responsibilities:

Thought Leadership, Content Development and Program Support
• Develop impactful sales tools and resources including collateral, white papers, presentations, etc.
• Design and deliver creative content and campaigns that drive intrigue and awareness for internal and external audiences. Create a plan, secure resources, develop content, choose effective mediums, manage to completion, and measure results.
• Use a variety of sources to research and analyze relevant business situations/trends and proactively recognize, evaluate, and develop messages to address key issues, drivers, and solutions
• Participate in conferences, tradeshows articles/blogs, to learn, network and expand the UKG brand
• Work cross-functionally with internal departments including but not limited to sales, presales, services, creative, field marketing, corporate marketing, events, communications, and Demand Gen.

Strategic Sales Support
• Collaborate with Demand Generation, Sales, and Industry team to develop and execute programs, events, and initiatives that support strategic sales goals
• Assist individual sales executives preparing for customer or prospect engagement
• Proactively work with sales leadership to understand revenue goals and priorities
• Communicate marketing efforts/direction through sales team calls and meetings
• Attend and assist in select trade shows, conferences, meetings, and occasional customer site visits

Cross-Vertical Support
• Partner with Marketing and Web Ops to create and manage a performance dashboard
• Support digital transformation projects to improve process and team collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Marketing Analytics and/or Communication required
• 10 years of relevant marketing, brand, communication and writing experience required
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills required
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines to successful completion
• Strong PowerPoint presentation skills
• Self-starter who can identify problems and proactively suggest, then execute creative solutions with minimal hands-on supervision
• Experience in SaaS marketing and/or sales is preferred
• Willingness to learn, research, and report on how software generates ROI for our customers.
• Strong collaboration skills with experience in diverse, fast paced environments that promote inclusion and belonging to foster learning and partnership
• Experience presenting in front of small and large groups virtually and in-person
• Flexibility to travel up to 25%
