Description

The Lead Knowledge Engineer will support users of Heretto, a DITA-based Component Content Management System (CCMS), and Ingeniux, a Headless Content Management System (CMS) enabling them to deliver high-quality content to UKG customers, partners, and employees.
Responsibilities
• Provide system support for users of supported systems including responding to user questions and enhancement request review and prioritization
• Collaborate with Content and Community Solutions team members when warranted, including troubleshooting steps taken to resolve user and system issues
• Train and support users on processes for content creation, organization, localization, maintenance, and metadata tagging
• Train and support users for webpage self-service enablement
• Understand, evangelize, and communicate updates on supported systems to ensure user satisfaction and efficiency
• Design, prototype, and write webpage solutions and create supporting system documentation
• Assist with content migration and supporting tasks to CMS, testing, validation, and user acceptance
• Analyze and assess existing systems and procedures
• Drive continuous improvement of content management processes to ensure content production, review, and maintenance are highest quality possible
• Work with tech vendors to stay abreast of new features and advocate for improved functionality and features
• Stay up to date on technology changes and updates and make recommendations of technology that can improve the satisfaction and efficiency of our users and consumers of our content
• Communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively to non-technical audiences

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent job experience
• Experience with ASP.NET and MVC preferred
• Proven web development and deployment experience using HTML/CSS/SASS/JavaScript
• Experience with Python for website development and process automation
• Experience with 508 & WCAG Compliance standards
• Experience using SOAP and REST API’s
• Experience with XML, XLST, XPATH preferred
• Experience with SQL preferred
• Experience with DITA preferred
• Experience with Component Content Management Systems (CCMS) such as Heretto, preferred
• Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Ingeniux, preferred
• Familiarity with user-centered design principles
• Experience with version control software such as Jira and/or GitHub
• Experience with Salesforce and Salesforce Experience Cloud preferred
• Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments

Colorado, New York, Washington, and California Pay Law

The pay range for this position in Colorado, New York, Washington and California is $95,000 to $136,550, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.

San Francisco Bay Area Pay Law

There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area, the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $109,250 to $157,033 per year.
