Description & Qualifications


UKG is looking to hire a Lead QA Engineer within our Suite Experience organization. You will work within a global and distributed team that develops and tests quality software aligned with product and company objectives.
• The right candidate will have experience both in hands-on software testing and systems engineering, as well as exposure to diagnosing and communicating about difficult problems in either engineering or production environments
• This role will require a significant breadth of both technical and non-technical skills, and a creative, driven, and motivational approach
• You will be responsible for the product quality delivery as per QA test strategy for a small group of teams with the OneMobile team
• This role will require experience in automation, manual, and performance testing to deliver high quality products as per product development/maintenance roadmap
*We are looking for candidates local to the office as this is a hybrid role going into the office 3 days per week in out Toronto office*


Basic qualifications:
• More than 5 years of professional experience
• Strong knowledge in QA methodologies
• Working knowledge of hybrid applications (Angular & Ionic)
• Knowledge of Appium, Selenium, Java, Postman, JavaScript / Typescript, and NodeJS
• Experience of Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (Jenkins / Concourse / TeamCity)
• A self-directed team player: collaborative, seeks input, accepts, and incorporates feedback from others, freely offers assistance
Preferred qualifications:
• Very passionate about evolving Mobile technologies and curious to know more
• Comfortable communicating with technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
• Customer-focused, positive, and professional attitude
• Organized, detail oriented, accurate and responsive
• Work in a fast-paced environment; takes initiative to learn and develop; very adaptable and dependable
• Work independently with minimal supervision
