UKG is seeking an experienced Lead Service Management Business Analyst to join our strategic services team. This Business Analyst role will be responsible for identifying and partnering with the business units to provide solutions for the business needs of our internal clients and stakeholders. This role needs to be a strategic visionary and an innovative thinker involved in all requirements related activities. Qualified candidates must possess broad experience conducting requirements gathering sessions and creating the functional specification documentation for systems projects. This position demands strong organizational skills and problem-solving expertise, while working with current and emerging technologies, and managing team dynamics. Excellent analytical skills, team orientation, flexibility, innovative thinking, problem solving, conflict management, and self-motivation are required for success. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications/Skills:
6+ years of experience in Business / Functional Requirements Analysis and project management requirements and design modeling, documentation and communication
Able to look at the big picture, speculate and conceptualize outcomes and identify trends
Ability to handle heavy workload, facilitate the activities of dynamic workgroups, and multi-task in a fast paced environment under tight deadlines
Enthusiasm for and ability to create software applications that meet customer needs
Strong Problem Solving Skills - Ability to analyze and critically evaluate gathered information to resolve conflicts, anticipate issues, and make priority decisions.
Ability to decompose high-level concepts into details and distinguish solution ideas from process, use cases, and requirements
Must have a working knowledge of project management lifecycle and techniques
Must have working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Visio, and MS Project
High degree of project planning, organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail
Self-motivated and willing to “do what it takes” to get the job done

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
Experience working in Salesforce
Experience in process improvement and mapping
Experience in gathering requirements, documentation and communication
Experience developing and executing test use cases
Experience in HRMS/Payroll industry and/or UKG Pro products
Experience using ‘Agile’ methodologies

Interpersonal Skills:
High degree of self-motivation to learn new methodologies/technologies that will enhance job performance
Detail oriented
Be able to work with different personalities and bring them together towards a common goal.
Work in multi-cultural environments therefore, sensitivity and understanding of different work approaches is important.
Being able to interact with others, communicate well and ask questions
Work effectively as a member of a team and independently.
Team Player

Education/Certification/License:
Business Analysis Certification preferred (CBAP – Certified Business Analysis Professional)
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration or related discipline highly preferred.
