UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) is looking for a software developer to join its world class engineering team in Montreal for its latest Cloud platform: UKG Dimensions. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience developing quality cloud solutions. You will play a key role in the development of our SaaS offering, in a highly collaborative, agile environment. This role provides the opportunity to:

• Build software applications and deliver business solutions using industry-standard programming languages and delivery platforms.

• Work as a fully contributing team member and works effectively without supervision and guidance and can act as a mentor for members.

• Lead projects and capable of coordinating activities / initiatives as Team / Tech Lead.

• Design, develop, support, maintain, and implement complex components of a project module.

• Adhere to and promote standards and web development best practices.

• Contribute to the suite of automated testing.

• Show willingness and commitment to self-development.

Qualifications

Basic Skills
• Minimum 10+ years of Software Development experience
• Hands-on experience working with programming languages like Java 8, Postgres SQL etc.
• Experience with design patterns, object oriented analysis, database modelling, etc.
• Experience with unit testing processes and tools (JUnit, Mockito, PowerMock, Karma, Jasmine, , etc.)
• Experience using one or more ORM frameworks such as Hibernate/JPA
• Experience with source control tools like Git.

Preferred skills
• Experience with Angular
• Experience working in highly complex and large application.
• Familiar working with Docker / Kubernetes infrastructure
• Understanding of French (we offer free French courses at work, during working hours!)
• Familiar with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence)
