Description

The Performance and Coaching team is seeking motivated and inspired Software Engineers to join us in building UKG Pro™ Coaching and Development, our next generation of people-centered feedback solutions!

You will be a key contributor in the design and development of new features, with a passion for building high-quality and easily maintainable software solutions.

You will develop and maintain customer-facing web and mobile applications, deploy and release containerized microservices to the cloud, and own the software development lifecycle end-to-end.

You will collaborate with other Engineers, Quality Engineers, SREs, UX Designers, and Product Managers to deliver the best-in-class performance management product on the market!


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of product features that will delight our customers

• Mentor and empower the team to solve challenging and complex technical problems

• Passionate about building software solution and learning cutting edge technologies

• Support an Agile culture of delivering high quality software and continuously improving the software development lifecycle


EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• 3+ years of professional experience in software development and automated testing

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Desire to grow and continuously improve your development skills
• Experience with Object Oriented Languages, such as Java or Kotlin
• Experience with microservices, and event-driven architectural patterns
• Experience with designing and developing RESTful APIs and services
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, such as MySQL or MongoDB
•Experience writing unit, integration, and system level tests

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with frontend development, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or
Angular
• Experience with backend frameworks, such as Spring Boot and Javalin
• Experience with message brokers, such as Kafka and RabbitMQ
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies
•Experience with Domain Driven Design
