Description
The preferred candidate would have strong experience developing standard CI/CD processes using Github, Github Actions, Jenkins and Artifactory. Experience with managing and deploying tools and applications in GCP required. Hands on experience administering and supporting CI related tools such as GitHub and JFrog Artifactory strongly preferred.• Research, design, test, and evaluate technologies for the UKG Build and CI/CD framework
• Implement, maintain, and improve a self-service platform for building software applications with built in quality checks and enforced standards for security
• Responsible for maximizing the maintainability and extensibility of the solutions
• Improve the developer experience for the thousands of engineers who utilize our solutions
• Influence teams and get buy-in for new technologies
• Mentor developers on the team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement
• Empower the team to deliver quality software in a timely manner and continuously improve the development process
• Write high-quality code, that is supported by an appropriate level of testing and metrics
Qualifications
• More than 7 years of engaging and working with cross-functional enterprise-level software development projects using Agile development methodologies• Recent experience with GCP is preferred
• Experience both as a user and administrator of GitHub and Artifactory
• Knowledgeable of microservices architecture
• Experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, and public cloud deployment platforms
• Strong experience working with continuous integration and continuous delivery
• Experience with Terraform is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, continuous improvement mindset
• Ability to manage and balance multiple deliverables concurrently in an environment with shifting priorities
