UKG is looking to hire a Lead Software Engineer to join our Tenancy Team in the Platform and Extensibility organization. Our team develops extensible solutions that enhance the delivery of data from UKG Pro to various other products in the company. As an engineer in Tenancy, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the set of services and applications that make this data flow process possible, and do so in a highly collaborative environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
-Design, code, test, build, and deploy simple solutions applying patterns and best practices
-Understand and leverage elements of Devops best practices such as version control, automated testing, automated deployment, CI/CD
-Work in a cloud-based environment to support our tools and processes
-Partner with business stakeholders, Principal Engineers, and Architects to translate requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions
-Closely collaborate within and outside the team on different matters concerning development and support of our products

Qualifications

-5+ years of Java Platform development of enterprise solutions
-Advanced programming skills in Java or a JVM based language
-Experience with MongoDB
-Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
-Some familiarity with event-based solutions (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
-Some familiarity with any public cloud solution
-Experience with Spring Framework is a plus
-Experience with Kotlin language is a plus
-Experience with Agile development methodology
