As a Lead Software Engineer on the Recruiting Team, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our Applicant Tracking System by building new functionality while ensuring the quality and excellence of our products. You will be responsible for the technical leadership of a fast-evolving product engineering team. You must be passionate about developing and growing engineers, leveraging modern technologies to rapidly deliver products with high quality and increasing operational efficiently through continuous process improvement.  Help build the candidate application experience of tomorrow.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Extensive experience developing cutting-edge solutions to maximize performance, scalability, and distributed processing capabilities

• Extensive experience with enterprise-scale OOP software utilizing SaaS design principles

• Ability to work independently to coordinate and implement solutions to complex technical issues

• Ability to lead technical efforts by coordinating the technical team members to align and ensure the integrity and quality of the final solution

• Ability to collaborate outside of the team to align and achieve expected outcomes

• Ability to identify and refactor areas of functional and architectural improvement

• History of obtaining leading-edge technological knowledge and ability to lead efforts with relevant technologies

• Experience with successful implementation of departmental improvements in process/technical solutions with positive measurable results

• Successful track record of mentoring new team members

• Proven ability to provide leadership with new development efforts, historical success with contributing to the design and estimation of new features

Qualifications

Requirements:
• Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent experience, Masters’ preferred

• 5+ years’ experience engaging with software/test engineers on enterprise level software development projects

• 5+ years’ experience with OOP, Data Structures and Algorithms

• Experience with SaaS (Software as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service), and IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) solutions

• Experience with the development of API’s, Web Services and Forms development

• 5+ years’ experience coding in C#

• 5+ years’ experience with NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB and Elasticsearch

• 5 + years with object-oriented design and development

• Agile or Lean Software Development experience such as Kanban or Scrum

• Proven experience successfully working within a team and managing a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities

• Superior problem-solving skills

• Positive team player attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Self-motivated and willing to “do what it takes” to get the job done

• High degree of organizational skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Self-motivation to learn new methodologies that will enhance job performance

• This role will be in the office 3 days a week
