Description & Qualifications


UKG is seeking a Lead Software QA Engineer to join our product development team working with the UKG PRO and UKG Dimensions products. This individual would be accountable for the quality of the product; developing test plans and executing test strategies to ensure quality releases. The candidate must demonstrate good analytical abilities, verbal & written English communication skills, and attention to detail. They would also have excellent leadership and automation and manual testing skills.

• Work closely with developers to design and deliver product functionality
• Responsible & accountable for the quality of the product for the project
• A demonstrated ability to deliver quality product releases on schedule
• Develop and execute test strategies to ensure quality releases
• Perform and define structured functional application, integration and regression testing activities
• Automate manual test cases and execute automation suite on periodic basis
• Analyze tests and validate failures based on the logs and daily runs
• Perform API level testing


• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field
• 5-8 years of experience as a Software or Quality Engineer
• Experience in SaaS & Cloud based application testing
• Working knowledge in testing techniques like Selenium, RestAssured
• Knowledge of an object-oriented programming language; Java, C#, or Kotlin
• Knowledge of test methodologies and tools like Jira, TestRail, ALM

We have returned to each other at UKG and are working in a hybrid model!
This means collaborating in person 2-3 days onsite, the rest of the week from home. The UKG offices that this role can be tied to are Lowell MA, Atlanta or Alpharetta GA or Weston FL.
