UKG is seeking a Lead Software Quality Assurance Engineer to help our team define & implement world-class QA strategies, develop & execute automated/manual test plans, and assist with the delivery of robust, high-quality product releases.

Job Responsibilities:

•The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following key characteristics and responsibilities:
•Drive QA efforts for one or more teams and implement quality processes required for successful product delivery
•Design and roll-out effective testing strategies, resulting in efficient test development and execution practices
•Collaborate effectively across (local & offshore) teams to ensure proper integration and delivery of code
•Coordinate vendor testing activity and help the overall project formulate an effective test strategy
•Contribute to estimation of work and create test plans that align with project deliverables
•Decompose product requirements into tasks and user scenarios into test scenarios and cases with high coverage
•Identify test data requirements and appropriate data sets for testing
•Generate, configure, and deploy mobile builds and environments, as needed
•Develop and maintain UI and API test automation
•Create traceability matrices and reports using test management tools
•Execute tests, interpret results, and communicate status on a regular basis

Qualifications

•6+ years of industry experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer / QA Lead / Test Engineer with excellent programming skills, knowledge of software development life cycle, QA methodologies, dev/test tools and software testing standards
•Expertise in Android and/or iOS mobile test development as well as understanding of mobile design and coding practices with an emphasis on building proper tests, automation and tools
•Demonstrated ability writing and executing complex functional test cases and test plans and leadership and collaboration within Agile/Scrum teams
•Hands-on experience with test automation, test tool creation, and automation frameworks
•Experience successfully applying different test methodologies and approaches (White / Black Box, Performance, Security, Accessibility testing, etc)
•Ability to write SQL queries to create/modify test data, monitor environments, and debug issues
•Experience working on robust automated tests in a Jenkins environment with a high level of maintainability
•Familiarity with Appium, Selenium, Java, Cloud-based development, Kubernetes, and Sauce Labs
•Strong problem-solving skills and ability to utilize data to drive decisions
