UKG is working on a new product that will support our customers in their effort to create and promote an innovative, people-focused culture. With an emphasis on collaboration and accountability, our product will nurture an employee's work journey by personalizing and illuminating their path forward through actionable suggestions, which radically increases both personal job fulfillment and overall employee retention.Job Responsibilities:
•Testing design that puts continuous delivery at the forefront
•Love thinking about all aspects of testing; unit, integration, performance, and exploratory
•Enable all engineers on the team to write effective tests as part of the normal development process
•You will need to interpret, often complex, business requirements to determine appropriate test coverage
•Create manual and automated tests to meet and exceed the “Conditions of Satisfaction” for your user stories and features
•Document your test cases and be able to clearly communicate, and receive feedback on, your methods and results to technical, and non-technical, members of your team
•Have a high bar for yourself and others when working with production systems
•Enjoy working in a collaborative environment with a diverse group of people
•Mentor and train new quality assurance engineers joining the team in technology, tools, procedure, standards, and guidelines
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or applicable development work experience•5 years of experience as a Software or Quality Engineer with coding skills in Java
•Understanding of design and coding with an emphasis on building test automation and tools
•Shows creativity and initiative to improve test coverage and effectiveness and can troubleshoot in complex environments
•Hands-on experience with UI Automation (preferably using Cypress.io, Nightwatch.js)
•Experience with performance testing (preferably using Gatling), testing REST-based API’s and working in a cloud environment (SaaS)
•Experience in Agile methodology
