Description

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, one will be expected to follow the modern test methodologies and processes throughout the software development lifecycle. The candidate must demonstrate good analytical abilities, attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership and support to QA Team initiatives contributing to estimation of work and creating test plan that aligns with project deliverables
• Work closely with the engineering team to design, test and work with Product Owner to understand the requirements
• Identify, develop, document and execute test scenarios/test cases to ensure quality product releases and compliance to requirements
• Ensure all tests are automated and maintained using the technology and framework implemented in the project
• Should have good knowledge and experience of functional testing, automation, reporting defects along with root cause, troubleshooting skills
• Ensuring proper functionality and performance of a wide variety of applications and platforms
• Good knowledge of SDLC/STLC
• Good knowledge of test design techniques and test case reviews

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of IT industry experience working with product companies/top tier services organization
• Proven Experience in domain excellence and capturing requirements
• Experience testing web based applications and involved in deployments and environment setup
• Ability to write intermediate SQL Queries in any database
• Good experience in test management tools like JIRA
• Good Experience of automation tools Selenium (for UI automation) and (Rest Assured/Soap UI for API Automation), Jest, Cypress, Playwright, Nightwatch
• Understanding of design and coding with an emphasis on building test automation and tools
• Experience with multitenant application is a plus
• Experience working in a cloud environment (SaaS) a plus
• PowerShell Knowledge – Good to have
• Excellent problem solving with good documentation and communication skills
• Software quality assurance experience of object-oriented solutions, web services, micro-service architecture, test-driven development and acceptance testing
• Ability to work with external and/or internal customers to test completed projects against specification requirements
• Ability to develop test cases, perform test execution and provide results analysis
• Ability to create and execute tests at various levels, including unit, functional and integration
• Ability to perform cross-browser testing to validate functionality across supported browsers
• Ability to communicate information effectively to customers at various organizational levels
• Good to have ISTQB Certified professional
• Good to have – CI/CD, Jenkins Pipeline, Ansible, Terraform and DevOps related knowledge is a plus
