The Strategic Sourcing Analyst ensures that products, services, and vendor relationships are in the best interest of the company. This position is responsible for the evaluation of vendors and contracts including the Requests for Quotes (RFQ), Request for Proposals (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFI). This position works under minimal supervision on complex assignments that require considerable independent discretion and judgement. This role is project based and is required to work on projects requiring; research, negotiation skills, and evaluation of services and be able to make a recommendation based on their research. They would provide recommendation of supplier selections based on market analysis and develop strategy for key materials and services. They support the business areas in evaluations of goods or services and can provide commercial, financial, and technical support.

The position requires expertise in sourcing and contract negotiations for Information Technology categories of expenditure such as Application Development, Ecommerce, Enterprise Software, Technical Consulting, Networking Hardware, Data Center Hardware, Hosting Services, etc. including but not limited to determining user requirements, recommendations of practical solutions, and company-wide efforts to improve the cost-effective use of technology
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Understand and be able to execute delegated steps of the sourcing work process in accordance with organizational processes.
• Collaborate with Legal and Security teams to ensure that appropriate due diligence is exercised while onboarding new suppliers
• Ensure that fully executed supplier contracts are collected and deposited into the contract management system in a timely manner
• Work with Internal Customers to facilitate Request for Proposals, Request for Quotes, and Invitations to Bid.
• Conceive, Develop and Deliver techniques, practices, and procedures for Compliance administration in a matter that protects the company’s interests.
• Prepares, reviews, and presents reports as requested.
• Independently works on large projects including both purchasing and process changes with a high level of discretion and independence. Exhibit a sense of ownership for projects delegated by management/leadership, including pushing projects along and responsibility for result
• Maintain all documentation on all procedures.
• Supports the Sourcing Managers by providing contract support and expertise.
• Researches and makes recommendations to internal customers based on in-depth analysis of market.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of strong Purchasing and Sourcing experience.
• Must have at least 2 years IT sourcing experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience, MBA a plus.
• Ability to create strong relationships with key stakeholders.

** Position is based out of our Weston office, FL. on a hybrid schedule
