The Technology & Innovation Enablement PMO is looking for an experienced Lead Program Manager who thrives in a fast paced, collaborative technical environment. This is a key role for a results-oriented person with the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively, encourage sound decision-making, and assist the teams he/she works with in successfully delivering on commitments. The Lead Program Manager will be responsible for delivering cross cutting strategic initiatives, providing strategic guidance to teams and project managers in ways that promotes the company’s culture.

The role requires being able to drive large cross cutting programs, initiatives, sub-workstreams and be able to holistically roll-up status, risks, and issues to C level stakeholders. The role will also require the ability to mentor other team project managers, strong communication skills both oral and written and experience facilitating workshops for strategy and consensus. Building strong relationships with stakeholders is a must as well as the ability to manage conflict and quickly assess the impact of changes and risks to drive creative solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Be the Lead Program Manager and take ownership for delivering Large Cross Cutting Strategic Initiatives.
• Ability to build and manage a team of matrixed cross-functional Project and Product Managers.
• Ability to create and maintain all Program / Project Artifacts (I.e. Program Operational Framework, Charters, Communications and Risk Plans, Dependency Matrices, Status Reports, Metrics, Program and Project Dashboards, ROI, Success Metrics, etc.).
• Build strong relationships, leveraged as a trusted advisor by your stakeholders and internal customers. Stakeholders include but not limited to C Level, SVP, VP, Dir, Mgr and Technical leaders.
• Ability to think both strategically and tactfully to build holistic and robust artifacts.
• Ability to strategize and outline goals and objectives for the program / pillar leadership across the organization.
• Ability to drive cross-team organizational readiness.
• Ability to provide information, support, direction, and problem-solving to the teams, as needed, in a manner that provides positive solutions, and if needed, adjusts current processes to improve the delivery, coordination, or quality of the product.
• Ability to manage dependencies and risks within and between all product pillars as well as other areas of the organization.
• Able to provide visibility, reporting and key metrics around key initiatives and products within the pillars to stakeholders and leadership.
• Ensure all initiatives that you govern are go-to-market ready for internal and external customers by fulfilling needs for training, activation, deployment, support, services, etc
• Monitor and operate within limits of the program budget with attention to maximize annual ROI
• Set program controls/governance/standards.
• Monitor and provide guidance for multiple projects through the entire program cycle.
• Establish and provide visibility to program roadmaps, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate and utilize resources for multiple projects in the program.


Required Qualifications/Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience, preferably with a technology related background.
• 7+ years’ experience in successfully leading and managing diverse programs and projects.
• Working experience with project management tools and methodologies, including JIRA, Smartsheet, Quip, Microsoft Project, Clarizen, Aha, etc
• Proficiency with Software Development SDLC and Technologies.
• Experience speaking and presenting to C level executives.
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar programs of at least 12 months in length. 2+ years in duration is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
• PMP certification.
• HCM, software development and agile methodology experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills – written, verbal and listening.
• Strong negotiations skills: can influence all levels of the organization and is skilled at leading others to develop consensus and to act on key initiatives.
• Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills
• Experience managing other project managers.
