UKG Ready is the flagship Workforce and Human Capital management product suite for small to medium enterprises for UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group). Join the UKG Ready UX team, that collaborates with cross functional teams and customers, to bring the next generation cloud workforce and human capital management product to life in a way that feels inspired, refined and delightful. Responsibilities

• Translate strategy, business requirements and usability best practices into high-quality, customer-centric designs that support and reinforce UKG’s product vision, brand, and business objectives
• Take on full accountability for the product experience of a critical domain area in the UKG Ready suite
• Collaborate with product teams and our inhouse accessibility program to deliver on UKG mission to offer meaningful and inclusive product experiences for all users
• Balance user experience, business needs, technical feasibility, and time-to-market to determine best product designs
• Architect, Design and Support new interfaces/experiences by creating low and high-fidelity wireframes, mockups and prototypes
• Champion customer-centric, responsive/adaptive design methodologies
• Collaborate with UX researchers to test concepts, perform task and user analysis, and assist with user acceptance testing
• Navigate cross-functionally to form partnerships and work closely with product managers and engineering teams to drive experience vision and ensure high quality design implementation through product lifecycle and releases
• Develop lean design practices and processes to maintain quality and efficiency of the design practice

Qualifications

• Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Information Design, Graphic Design, or a related design or behavioral science discipline
• 5+ years Professional UX/UI Design experience (portfolio necessary)
• Strong analytical skills to identify and break down complex problems into solvable parts without losing sight of the overall user flow and journey
• Obsessive attention to details with the ability to work with existing design language patterns but unafraid to identify the opportunities and push the envelope for innovation
• Experience in the Workforce and Human Capital management area is a plus
• Proficiency in using Figma, Sketch, and other design tools
• Strong drive to lead projects; Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with business owners as well as developers; must have the ability to articulate design rationale in discussions and in presentations
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile, startup-like environment.
