The Consultant will be a member of the User Adoption (UA) consulting practice working with customers to achieve successful UKG solution adoption by end-users. As a Change Manager to our customers, the UA Consultant plays a key role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. This person will focus on advising our customers on the people side of change, including managing changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles, and related changes driven by the purchase of UKG solutions. In addition, the UA Consultant advises the execution of change management plans, including the development of user adoption tools and courses. Project scope can vary in size. The UA Consultant will also support project teams with integrating change management activities into their project plans. Independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria is required on a per-project basis to achieve desired results and to work as part of the overall UKG team.
While the UA Consultant will not have supervisory responsibility, this person will have to work through many others in the organization to succeed. Projects may be performed solo or in partnership with other members of the UA team, cross-functional UKG team, and partners.
Our User Adoption Consultant will...
• Apply a structured change management methodology and process and use the UA tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a customer project
• Conduct impact analyses to assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders
• Support the design, development, and delivery of communications.
• Provide input, document requirements, and support the design, development and delivery of training
• Advise and assist customers with managing, and reinforcing the change associated with adopting UKG solutions and associated work processes, as scoped in the customer Statement of Work
• Follow strategic customers throughout their UKG lifecycle and work cross-functionally with Sales/Presales, Global Services Business Development, Customer Success, Advisory Services/Professional Services, and partners to ensure user adoption at appropriate touchpoints
• Drive customer satisfaction in your consulting efforts and in the customer’s overall experience with UKG
• Participate in the ongoing refinement of team tools, standards, and processes.
• Complete special projects as assigned by User Adoption Principal and Team Leads
• Perform administrative responsibilities that include, but are not limited to: setup, processes, reports, and business applications required to record time/events on time so that Practice revenue is recognized


• 7+ years of related work experience
• Excellent customer-facing consultation and communication skills are a must, including gathering and clarifying requirements, presenting solutions, conveying value, managing expectations, and delivering exceptional customer care
• Able to work in ambiguous situations
• Experience working cross-functionally and influencing team outcomes
• Ability to work in teams or alone, influence both customers and colleagues, manage multiple projects, demonstrate close attention to detail, and meet tight deadlines while driving quality outcomes
• Must demonstrate the ability to communicate with and write for different audiences from the C-suite executive level to targeted stakeholder groups such as managers and employees
• Experience with UKG products, specifically UKG Pro Suite (People Center) is highly preferred. (Note: Applied solution knowledge along with human capital management and workforce management expertise will be an ongoing requirement for this role)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Formal education in Organization Behavior or Organization Development is preferred
• Prosci certification as a Change Manager is preferred
• Experience with software training is a plus
• Proficiency in Spanish or French is a plus
• Must be able to travel approximately 30%, based upon demand
